Greetings Prospective Supporter,
The Sons of Hank Charitable Foundation, Inc., a newly formed 501 (c)(3) organization, is thrilled to present its 1st Annual Scholarship Fund Initiative. Started in 2023, the SOHCF is a collection of graduates from Fayetteville State University, Fayetteville North Carolina, who also matriculated through the Delta Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated.
About Sons of Hank:
By leveraging the depth and breadth of the graduate members of the Delta Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity Inc., The Sons of Hank Charitable Foundation, Inc” will be utilized as follows:
Use as a mechanism for solicitation of grants, in-kind and cash donations. The nonprofit status allows us to go to individuals / companies and solicit donations to support our stated mission. Individuals / Companies can write a portion of their donations off on their annual taxes.
In 2025 we plan to launch our scholarship fund, with proceeds benefiting qualified young men on the campus of Fayetteville State University. In addition, we plan to assist the undergraduate brothers of Delta Gamma with becoming a primary student financial sponsoring organization of the on-campus food bank, an essential service that every student on campus will benefit from.
As a sponsor, you will be assisting the SOHCF with establishing a scholarship fund and to increase outreach on the campus of Fayetteville State University.
